Centre North East Views

The 8th September 2001 was the annual 'Heritage Open Day' where the public could access places normally closed to them.  One of these places was the top (17th) floor of the 'Centre North East' office block, the tallest building in Middlesbrough, formally called Corporation House.  The following photos are the views (taken through the tinted double glazing).

Transporter Bridge Views

Another, rather more spectacular place open for the 'Heritage Day' was the walkway along the top of the Transporter Bridge, this is reached by 10 flights of rather steep metal steps.
